We are part of the Semilla Business Group, dedicated to promoting the tourism industry through ventures such as BlueSea, which specialises in tourism intermediation and real estate development projects focused on hospitality, including Zafiro.

The Greater Caribbean is our passion, our identity, and our calling to the world. Therefore, we have built a company that promotes the paradisiacal destinations, unforgettable experiences, and development opportunities that the region has to offer. We initially focused on Antigua and Barbuda, the Colombian Caribbean, the Mexican Caribbean, and the Dominican Republic, but we continually explore and develop new destinations to expand our reach.

BlueSea, The Latin American Traveller, the DMC for the Greater Caribbean, was born from the desire to leverage Maria Britto’s extensive experience and network of contacts, which she has consolidated over the years as a businesswoman and diplomat.

Mrs. Britto, who has Colombian roots and an entrepreneurial spirit, is known for her passion and dedication. She has successfully created and managed businesses in the hospitality and construction industries. However, her vision extends even further; she recognizes tourism as a powerful tool for generating employment, positively impacting regional development, and contributing to environmental sustainability. Among her notable achievements are the waiver of tourist visas for Colombians traveling to Antigua and Barbuda, as well as the organization of a trip for over 150 travel agents to this beautiful destination in 2019.

As a global citizen and expert in diplomatic and business dynamics, Mrs. Britto understands the challenges facing Caribbean countries. For this reason, she founded BlueSea to develop tourism, the robust “industry without chimneys,” as a key resource for regional growth through paradisiacal destinations and unique experiences.

BlueSea Authorised Distributors

As a Destination Management Company (DMC), our primary clients are travel agencies and tour operators that have become authorised BlueSea distributors. Therefore, we have developed a B2B platform that allows them to quote all the destinations in our portfolio.

To become a BlueSea distributor, follow these simple steps:

  • Participate in our scheduled webinars. Here you can strengthen your knowledge of the destinations we serve.
  • Send us an email to info@bluesea.ag requesting your “Distributor” contract. Once completed, attach it to an email and send it along with the requested documents to the same address.
  • Await our response with your credentials to access our private distributor site.
  • Once on our site, you will be able to view all the information about our products, share our plans and experiences, and provide your clients with all the information required to sell our destinations.
